| Message/Mission statement: We provide a unique service which combines care, contact and concern with practical solutions to help combat isolation and loneliness, with particular concern to help older people, people who are vulnerable, disabled and those who are disadvantaged by illness. |
| Description: The charity provides televisions, radios and other communication equipment at no cost to the recipients with help with installation and ongoing maintenance. The charity operates throughout the UK and is particularly interested in helping individuals who are isolated and have little opportunity for contact with others. 52% of our recipients feel less isolated and alone when in receipt of our service and many describe it as a lifeline. As a small charity we have a big impact. We help over 3000 per year. We receive no government funding and rely solely on public donations. |
