| Message/Mission statement: The apas mission statement is ‘working to reduce alcohol problems in the community’. We do this by direct services to drinkers and their families. Education and training about alcohol use and misuse. Campaigning work with the licensing authorities and licensed trade with the aim of promoting responsible retailing. |
| Description: apas provides information, advice and counselling for people with alcohol, drug or gambling problems and their families and friends. Access to treatment services. apas Direct Service (no appointment necessary): Monday – Thursday 12.30pm – 6.30pm; Friday 12.30pm – 4.30pm and Saturday 9.00am – 12.30pm. Alcoline telephone service: Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 7.00pm; Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm – answerphone service at all other times. |
