BIBIC exists to help maximise the potential of children with conditions affecting their sensory, social, communicationmotor and learning abilities.
We do this by multi-disiplinary assessment of each child and producing, with conjunctin with the parents and other family members, a programme which can be caried out at home, with the full back up of BIBIC resources being available for as long as is needed.

Description:
BIBIC was founded in 1972 aand is a national children's charity based in Somerst. We aim to sup[port families in maximising the potential of their children wwith learning difficulties, caused by such conditions as brain injury, autism, Down syndrome and cerebal palsy. We also give guidance and support at the other end of the leaning difficulties spectrum, e.g. with dyslexia and ADHD.
Our services compliment mainstream medicine and educatin and our therapies encompass various disciplines including psychology,physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and nutriciaon.
In effect we teach the parents to become their child's therapists.
